Fabulous Fall

Thought I'd post some new pictures for my Fam in Michigan and change the scenery for the few who still check my blog to see if I've written.....Facebook has taken over and I don't have time to do it all.

The Silence is Broken

With a title like that, I really should have something profound to say.........But I've got nothin' :)
My kids (all 3 of them) have been sick and I am just praying that it is now over, so we can enjoy the beautiful weather. Even though we have been stuck in the house passing germs back and forth, it has been nice to spend time together. We have been playing games and reading books. The girls got the Disney Princess Game where you dress up and I sneaked some pictures of Joe.

He was reluctant at first.....but he is very proud to be a Daddy of two very girlie Girls. He was the winner of this round.
Well, I am very excited about the upcoming summer and the events that it brings! I'm anxious to know where we will end up. Our house is for sale again, if it does not sell this time....we are taking it as a sign and plan on doing some remodeling. Aside from being anxious to know, I will be at peace with whatever happens.
I am excited about the CIRCUS this weekend, I have not been to a circus since forever ago! and it's at our church, it couldn't be anymore convenient.
Have a great rest of the week everyone!!!!

SISTERS

Well, October has been over for a while now...so I thought I would post a new picture. I am so blessed with two sweet girls (sweet most of the time). I love that they are so close in age and have each other to play with and I pray that they will be close as they get older. They are so excited about Santa and Christmas. Josephine wants to watch some sort of Christmas Movie every 2 seconds, (Ella would rather watch Dora). It's Christmas 24/7 around here.

Is October Over Yet?

Well, until now I did not have much to post about. But with the events around here lately, they seemed blog worthy to me. We started off this month in Michigan visiting family. Ella caught Hand Foot and Mouth disease (not to be confused with hoof and mouth disease), she had been exposed to it the week before we left and I thought she was in the clear until the morning we were leaving. She was pitiful, we managed to have a great trip, even though Joe caught it and we also passed it to family members in MI. Coming home I thought we would be in the clear of anymore events, until the other night.........Josephine was walking around the house with a blanket on her head(that's normal right?) and somehow managed to hit her chin on the coffee table, It took her 3o min to calm down and I seriously thought she broke her chin( can you even do that?) going to the emergency room crossed our mind, but she calmed down and now has a nasty bruise. While we were calming Josephine down, Ella managed to fall off the kitchen chair and hit her head on the floor......she started one of those cries that you can't hear that lasted for what felt like 5 minutes.....she calmed down and we checked her eyes for dilation and she was fine, I was still worried to put her to bed. Everything was uneventful until last night when Ella managed to close her own finger in the laundry room door, she closed it all the way. We thought she broke it, it was smashed and misshapen and swelling. She has never cried like that before and we could not calm her down, we decided to head for the emergency room at 8:00 last nite, we called Jim and Krista to see if we could drop Josephine off at their house. We got in the car and of course we were on E (Joe was not very happy with me). By the time we got gas and arrived at J & K's, Ella was smiling and starting to bend her finger. By the time she saw Max and Julianna we new she was fine. This morning Josephine woke up and said that she felt sick and not long after she got sick......I am praying that she is OK......she's been completely fine ever since then. Well that has been October so far for us. Anymore injuries in this house, we may get a visit from the Authorities!!!!:)

NOTHING NEW

I don't have a thing to blog about right now, but I am tired of seeing my 3oth birthday picture at the top of my page, what was I thinking?, posting so many pictures of myself?...GAG. Here is a pic of my cutie pies posing. They are growing up so fast and I am trying to ENJOY them these days. We sat in the floor yesterday and played for 45 minutes. It was so fun and Josephine gave me a big hug right in the middle of it. I just melted and knew that I needed to do more of that with them.

My 3oth birthday was last Tuesday and thanks to family and friends it was a SURPRISE. So I thought I'd share a few pics. I got to have lunch with my best buddies and then, little did I know, a PARTY was being planned for later. I wasn't going to make a big deal out of my 3oth, but I'm glad to be left with something to remember. Thanks Guys!
Birthdays make you think about the years past and the years ahead. I want to live the rest of my years with a greater purpose. I long to SEEK and LIVE IN the will of God. I pray that God will soften my heart and lead me to peace in ALL of my relationships.

4th Generation Friends

This is Sadie And Josephine, 4 th Generation Friends. My Best friend and her family from Michigan came for a visit this past week. It was so awesome to see them and It was so fun to watch our girls play. Sara and I have been friends since birth. Our mothers were friends and our Grandmothers were next door neighbors and friends for 40+ years. God has used Sara and her family to show me what being a Christian is all about. My family, from my grandparents down would not be where we are today if it was not for their example.
Sara and I have been from Elementary school to junior high to high school together. We were college roommates. We spent New years eve together every year, Christmas's, Birthday's, Youth Group, Winter Camp, We were Maid of honor in each other's weddings. We played dress up, we dressed up Barbie's. I taught her how to iron (that's a really funny story). I did her laundry in college and made sure she had matching socks(she always had miss matched socks, and it drove me crazy). I could go on and on!
Having her here this week reminded me of all these things and how much I love and miss her. I felt that "Comfortable" feeling that I hadn't felt in along time when she was here. Bonds like that are not very common and I am so thankful for her!!!
